Music4Kidz is the first step on our pathway to the arts. In cooperation with local school districts and by invitation from participating schools, we produce "klassic koncertz" on school stages starring professional performing and recording artists like David Benoit and Roger Williams.

Through all-school, hour-long assemblies, these pros introduce students to many musical styles not often heard on pop-programmed, commercially-controlled public airwaves, helping to close the culture gap for a generation to whom the term "classic" is more likely to refer to rock than Rachmaninoff.

During Music4Kids "klassic koncertz" students immediately recognize the difference between between over-produced pop and true musical mastery. Following the presentation, they rush the stage wanting to meet the unfamiliar face who played all too familiar tunes.

This is when first-time aspiring musicians will often approach IFEPA volunteers and ask how, when and where they can learn to play that way–our first opportunity to create an after-school Music Gang on their campus.
